OUR MISSION

Oregon Rural Action is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in eastern Oregon. 

We are rural communities organizing for action to promote social and environmental justice, agricultural and economic sustainability and stewardship of the region's land, air, and water.

HOW WE ORGANIZE FOR ACTION

We believe rural people should lead on the issues that shape our lives. Our job is to bring people together and make that possible.

Our work includes:

  • Building local leadership to guide our priorities.

  • Amplifying a unified voice in public decisions. 

  • Conducting research and sharing clear, honest information.
